Programme Overview

The Diploma in Animal Health & Production is a two-year CTVET-accredited programme designed to provide students with a strong foundation in animal health management, livestock production, and agribusiness.

The programme combines theoretical knowledge with practical training to equip learners with the skills required to support healthy and productive livestock systems.

Students gain hands-on experience in the management of ruminants, monogastrics, and companion animals, while developing competencies in animal nutrition, disease prevention, farm management, and agricultural entrepreneurship.

Entry Requirements

Applicants must possess the following:

Academic Passes

Four (4) passes in SSSCE, WASSCE, or GBCE.

Required Subjects

Passes must include English Language and Mathematics.

Practical Training

Students participate in livestock production projects, animal health demonstrations, poultry and livestock management activities, farm practical sessions, field visits, industry exposure, and agribusiness projects.
